Lyn Hershey
This is the extended portfolio of Lyn Hershey. Lyn has painted for about 80 years, and many of his works have been given away, donated in auctions, or lost in time. The remnants of those pieces are here – stories and candid photos of paintings that once were. While it doesn’t fit in a professional portfolio, it shows the legacy of the artist.
Lyn was not sure what he used to paint this, or when he painted it, but the original is at Jess Hershey's house. This was a "outta my head" painting, not any specific place or photo. It is possible that Jess even helped paint this, as that was something Lyn enjoyed...

Watercolor painting. 1990 Original was painted for Jim Kellis at Crooked River Ranch. When he passed away his wife Jean kept it for a long time and then recently gave it back. It's a barn in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Oil painting 1971 Marian and Denis had this painting for a long time, now it's at Lyn and Jeanie's. Lyn remembers painting this in Elkhart, Indiana while the family lived there. This painting won an award in an art contest.

Acrylic painting Original was given to friends in Aberdeen Ken and Marilyn Horsch who were neighbors when Lyn & Jeanie lived there.
Oil painting on glass1950 Painted an inverted image on the back of the glass. This was painted while Lyn was living at home with his family. Lyn's parents kept it in their position for a long time, and it now resides with Lyn in Idaho.
